This is a monkey mask. It has a Bamana shape and remarkable geometrical lines. Notice the metal trim on its forehead and and the white mouth. We have had this mask for about 30 years. Not sure when my father-in-law purchased it. It is from the second part of 20th century. It is special more because of its distinct shape than because of its age.
