This is a short sward known as ikul. Ikul is perhaps the most commonly seen type of weapon among the Kuba, and it is said a true man is never without one. The most sumptuous ikul belong to the high nobility or the king himself, and their blades are inlaid with red  or yellow brass.

This item just came back from the film set. It was used in shooting of the museum scene in major motion picture.
