This is a wonderful bell made out wood. I has been used by villagers in daily life. The sound is made by a small wooden piece inside the bell. The graceful curve of the bell, its narrow opening for the tongue reminds us of the sweeps of African savannas.

Provenance: this bell has been in the Raskin Private collection for years.
