Batshioko), Angola, Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zambia
Horned helmet mask. This tribe is mentioned in the literature under 35 different spellings. The 600,000 Chokwe constitute the largest ethnic group in eastern Angola. They also live in DRC and Zambia. These people are known to be great hunters and collectors of honey. In all appearances, this helmet mask may be attributed to the dance type. Other types include initiation and sacred masks.
